Your move is important,
each and every step of it. That's why we provide pre-move counseling. We
want to know your concerns, and your needs. McCormack-Payton offers proven advice
and planning aids to make your day-by-day relocation activities less
hectic, and easier.
Introduction
Phone call:
Upon receiving authorization from your companies relocation department,
McCormack-Payton's Customer Service Representative will make the initial
contact with you, the transferring employee. At this time, your specific
concerns are noted and a pre-move survey will be scheduled.
Information
Packet: You
will be mailed an information packet, that will give you pointers and tips
on getting organized for your move. It also contains information on how we
pack and load your household goods.
Pre-Move Survey: We will arrange for an Atlas
Agent near you to come to your home and do a pre-move survey. They will
walk through your home and let us know the number of boxes we will need for
your packing, how much room in a truck you will require and if you have any
special needs.
Date Confirmation
Phone Call:
When results from the survey are sent to us, you are contacted again and
dates are confirmed. At this time, a written confirmation will also be
mailed to you.
Pre-Move Phone
Call: One
to Two days before your relocation begins, our Customer Service
Representative will call you and check-in to make sure that everything is
ready and answer any last minute questions.
Moving Day Phone
Call: The
day your move begins you will again receive a call from our Customer
Service Representative. This call is simply to make sure everything is
going as planned and again to check for new questions.
Delivery Phone Call: One to Two days before you are
scheduled to deliver our Customer Service Representative will call you to
check on how things are at your destination. We want to be sure your new
home is ready, you are ready and double check your new address and phone numbers.
Follow-Up Phone
Call: Once
you are settled into your new home our Customer Service Representative will
call to ask if there is anything else we can do for you. We like to stay in
touch!
